2019 Banfi Col Del Sasso Toscana 5ltr

Col di Sasso, which translates to “Stony Hill,” is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes cultivated in hillside vineyards in the southern part of Tuscany. The Cabernet imparts bold fl avor and body, while the Sangiovese adds zesty fruit and structure

2019 Le Volte Dell' Ornellaia 1.5ltr

2019 gives us a Le Volte dell’Ornellaia with great balance and expressivity. With its bright ruby-red color, intense scents of red berries and rose petals are clearly distinguishable on the nose, while on the palate the taste is full-bodied and enveloping, characterized by dense tannins and a vibrant acidity which make this a highly pleasant and enjoyable wine.

The 2016 d’Arcins has quite a high-toned but nicely detailed bouquet with iodine-tinged black fruit, touches of mint and pot pourri. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine line of acidity, smooth in texture with a very cohesive, almost Pauillac-like finish. Excellent. Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London.

 Owned by the Castel family, this estate has made a wine that is packed with fruit and surprisingly soft tannins. The palate is juicy, with a toasty edge and a light, bright black-currant flavor. It is likely to age quickly.
