Winemaker Notes.
On the nose, fine and elegant bouquet, with small red berries aroma, roses and citrus scents, spicy and a bit herbaceous.
Pinot nero, also known as Pinot noir, is one of the most difficult red-berried grapes to grow and vinify, as it requires particular climatic conditions in order to best express itself in the vineyard, but is capable of producing wines of great class and elegance. It has a red colour that is never too pronounced and a characteristic scent of small red fruits.
Dates, mushrooms, lemons and cherries on the nose. Some sweet spices. Powdery and tangy on the palate, with a medium body and a sweet-sour touch. James Suckling, 5/2024.
Opening with aromas of tart cherry and cranberry, this Pinot Noir snaps the senses awake with its lift and vibrancy. Fresh and tart on the palate with red berries working along side notes of bay leaf and drying leaves on the easy and soft finish. Jeff Porter, 5/1/2025.
