The Latvian premium vodka Stolichnaya Elit uses Latvian wheat and rye and is triple-distilled and charcoal-filtered. It then undergoes a proprietary freeze filtration process that is inspired by the old Russian practice of leaving casks or trays out in freezing temperatures to remove the water.
