2020 La Colline aux Princes Sancerre The taste is very nice and complex. The many minerals I find in this Sancerre combine beautifully with the subtle ripe fruit. The tropical fruit I find in this Sancerre has enough citrus freshness to make your mouth water. In addition to the pure fruit, I also find notes of grass, a hint of hazelnut and hay. The body is medium full and the aftertaste is quite long with a lot of iron mineral Light gold in color, complex nose of white flowers opening to a fruity, citrus nose. Freshness and light acidity makes it an easy drinking glass of wine. This is a beautiful Sancerre and Sancerre is almost the best the Sauvignon Blanc grape can produce. The location does wonders for this beautiful wine region in the Loire Valley and the vineyard adds to this. The complexity is very nice with a complex full body and aftertaste.
