Chateau Laffite Grand Vin De Bordeaux

On the palate this red wine from the Bordeaux is soft, fruity and round. 

Dark ruby in appearance with notes of plum, blackberry, ripe cherries, spices and hints of vanilla on the nose. In the mouth it is rich and juicy with berry fruit and ripe tannins.

Château Lafitte has been producing wine under its Lafitte name since 1763. In 2003 Château Lafite Rothschild took the smaller producer to court about the use of the name Lafitte. In 2008 France’s highest appeals courts ruled in Château Lafitte’s favor confirming their right to use the Lafitte name.

The palate is fleshy and smooth, the medium is generous but well balanced. A good texture accompanied by a beautiful liveliness, give this wine a real capacity for aging. The finish is charming and juicy, which will allow it to be appreciated quite quickly.
