2017 Tridente Tempranillo

Tridente Tempranillo is a red wine from the VT Castilla-Léon produced by the winery Tridente, belonging to the group Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares. Tridente Tempranillo is 100% produced from the varietal, Tempranillo. The grapes originate from very old vines, 100 years old; located in the zones of Villanueva de Campeán and El Pego. The wine is fermented and macerated in stainless steel containers for 20-25 days at a temperature of 25º.

Bright purple. Intense cherry, blueberry and floral pastille scents on the spice-accented nose and in the mouth. Round and fleshy in style, with a spine of juicy acidity providing lift and structure to sweet black and blue fruit and mocha flavors. Closes with gentle grip and very good persistence, the velvety tannins framing the wine's sweet fruit.
