The grapes selected to produce this wine are located on the hill of Corton in south-easterly facing parcels. The vines are managed in the traditional way by the Louis Latour team which carries out strict pruning in order to produce later harvests thus insuring a good degree of maturity in the grapes. This wine is made up of grapes selected from several different parcels of vines in order to guarantee consistent quality each year. It has a good aging potential.

This red is rich and broad, with nicely focused black cherry, blackberry, earth and toasty oak flavors. It's bright, and the dusty tannins are embedded in its fleshy texture. Fine length. Best from 2023 through 2038.

Winemaker Notes

Ruby in color, the Louis Latour Corton Grand Cru Domaine Latour reveals aromas of cherry and licorice on the nose. The palate is supple with mellow tannins. On the finish, licorice aromas are accompanied by pretty spice notes
