Dry; light body, soft in the mouth; nice fruit; vanilla in the mid-palate thanks to fermentation in French oak, followed by six months on the lees for depth and complexity; 100% chardonnay. Moderate acidity; smoothness of malolactic fermentation, but this is not close to being a butter bomb. Smooth, very easy drinker.

The Chardonnay is sourced from 20-30 year old trellised vineyards that are dry farmed and cared for without the use of pesticides, fungicides or herbicides.

90 Vinous

Bright yellow. Smoky, mineral-tinged aromas of fresh citrus and pit fruits and honeysuckle, along with a vanilla nuance and a hint of sweet butter. Vibrant and focused on the palate, offering Meyer lemon and white peach flavors that open up slowly with aeration. Shows bright, stony character on the incisive finish, which leaves behind citrus fruit and floral notes.
