it screams the beach and summer....."
"Ok I write to you today about the wine "La Cala "the grape is Vermentino it's
from Sardegna, Italy.
To me it screams the beach and summer. It's bright, floral, has beautiful
notes of peach, pineapple and a hint apricot. The note that sends me to the
beach is the savory finish. It leaves a little salty bite in your mouth
which makes you literally salivate! Which is the reason I find it refreshing
And it doesn't stop! Your mouth will continue to water with this baby! It's
zesty, and lively and I highly recommend this beautiful wine to take to the
beach, BBQs, etc....... you won't need water, your mouth will be happy just
swooshing this goodness Take a sip you'll see."

a very well-crafted Macon packed full of flavor....."
"White Burgundy over the years has either become unapproachable due to price
or the quality has seemed too washed out. For those off us who couldn’t
afford Grand Cru or Premier Cru Burgundy, Macon was always a great fall
back. However this is one of the hardest hit regions in quality slippage.
What a delight it was to taste the Macon Ige from Fichet. This reminded me
of the good old days of Macon. Fichet is one of only three producers from
the town of Ige and the only one to export to the US. So you can kind of say
he is “the one and the only.”
It has a wonderful, beautifully defined bouquet with subtle mineral scents.
The palate is well-balanced with plenty of fruit concentration. The acidity
is well-balanced and gives this superb wines finish focus.
This is a very well-crafted Macon packed full of flavor."

a rich, medium to full-bodied, delicious effort....."
"Pitch is an exclusive bottling produced by one of T. Edward Wines’ partners
in Washington State. We see this quite often. These fine wine distributor’s
have some great connections in the brands the represent. So they utilize
them to create these custom cuvees to use in all their high end restaurant
accounts. We are proud to offer this wine as an extreme value from the
Columbia Valley in Washington State.
Introducing the Pitch! This is a firm and focused wine with dense flavors,
coming together seamlessly on the long, vivid finish. Reminiscent of a
hypothetical blend of a top-notch Bordeaux and a Washington state Cabernet
Sauvignon. Old world structure flavors of cassis and black currant. It is a
rich, medium to full-bodied, delicious effort with a surprising personality
for a wine in this price range. A textbook example of delicious Columbia

“Juicy, straightforward deliciousness is what this wine is all about, and it
delivers a lot of it for just ten bucks. Dark berry tones show plenty of
ripeness but no raisiny character, with nice purity thanks to fresh acidity
and an absence of overt wood notes. This puts most wines in its price
category to shame. A Platinum Award winner at the 2017 San Diego Challenge
International Wine & Spirits Competition.” ($10)
