say $13(WineReviewOnline.com), we say $10+, when bought by the case!!
"What I particularly admire about this Chardonnay is its very
simplicity. So many Chards are enchanting in a complex and demanding way,
the equivalent of a prima donna who is admirable but who demands one’s
complete attention in order to be fully appreciated. This wine is easygoing
in that it has no extremes of fruit, or oak, or acidity, or sweetness. It’s
just a congenial, serviceable white wine, good with food, good with friends,
good for any informal occasion. )$13)

“Bright ruby. Fresh, mineral-accented red berry and floral aromas are
complemented by notes of spicecake and licorice. Juicy and precise, with a
seamless texture to its zesty raspberry and bitter cherry flavors. Closes
with impressive energy and cut, leaving pepper and candied rose notes
behind. This 100%-grenache wine is made from a schist- and granite-based
vineyard just south of Cornas. Texier believes that this is the most
northern planting of grenache in the Rhone Valley.”

Best
Value in a tasting of 12 Reislings!!
"Great weather this past weekend..... So what to do? How about
open 12 bottles of Riesling and see which one stands out as "GREAT VALUE."
This is what we do for fun... We opened 12 different German Rieslings,
2009's, 2010's and one 2011..... The winner?!?! 2011 Kabinett
Anselmann. Wow, what an unbelievable bouquet. Enchanting aromas of peaches
and honey, wrapped in a floral gauze. On the palate... Riper and rounder
than the bouquet suggests, yet also more savory and minerally at the same
time. Finishes with almost meaty, brothy, umami-like elements that linger.
Loaded with sappy, luscious ripe peach, orange, and grapefruit wreathed in
smoke and fine herbs.
A clear stand-out winner amongst a crowd of more expensive counterparts.
Showing well now, it'll be fun to see how it matures over time..... In-Stock
and ready to ship!"

Voluptuous
Verdejo - 2010 Emina - certified GREEN
Verdejo has become Spain's most internationally admired white.
Today, bottles like this lovely, floral and pear-drenched 2010 Emina Verdejo
are commonplace... but few as satisfying and lush as this.
Verdejo's legendary affinity for seafood of all types is as much a part of
this wine as its bottle. With clams, lobster, white-fleshed fish, prawns, or
even octopus and calamari, this is the perfect pairing. If you're primarily
a white wine drinker and a bit adventurous, you've probably already tried
Verdejo but, chances are, it wasn't as voluptuous and mouth-filling as this.
If you're a Chard fan and haven't tasted a lot of Verdejo, the main
difference is that Verdejo is a tad more delicate. It shows a woodsy,
new-mown hay kind of character, like a light Chard with some good Sauv Blanc
tossed in.
The 2010 Emina Verdejo is fresh and floral wine, made entirely with Verdejo
grapes. Striking pale yellow color, bright and clean with primary aromas of
banana, pineapple, and lavender blossoms. On the palate, Intense Flavors of
anise with touches of fennel and thyme, hay and fresh herbs. Medium bodied
mouth feel, balanced acidity, and quite noticeable freshness.
Absolutely delicious!!! For the "GREEN" people out there......The Emina
winery is Certified Green. An Absolutely delicious, dry white from Spain
perfect for pairing with all sorts of seafood."

".....A
real success for a notoriously difficult grape....."
..... 92 points too!!
“Marlborough is usually ranked after Central Otago and Marlborough
when considering prime sites for Pinot Noir in New Zealand. A few more wines
like this one and that paradigm in likely to change. Sarah Burton and the
winemaking team has managed to capture both the fruity and savory sides of
Pinot Noir in their 2009 bottling. It's a marvelous balance between the
delicate fresh fruit notes and the often-elusive earthy/leafy side of the
varietal. A real success for a notoriously difficult grape.”

Château Haut Beyzac's 2009 Haut-Médoc du Haut Beyzac, Haut Medoc is owned by
A pure-bred, corn-fed, all-American farm boy, Darren Miller who met his
French wife-to-be, Emmanuelle, while she was interning in southeastern
Pennsylvania. Now living in her native Bordeaux, they have collaborated with
her sister, Marie-Pierre, and brother-in-law, Eric, to restore the vineyards
of Château Haut Beyzac in the Haut Médoc.
The vineyard consists of 30 acres Cabernet Sauvignon, 24 acres Merlot, 6
acres Petite Verdot, all planted in 1999. The vineyard is in Vertheuil,
bordering the famous village of Saint-Estèphe. Like much of Saint-Estèphe,
soils are clay and limestone, with some of the gravel for which the Médoc is
more generally known. The finished wine consists of 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet
Sauvignon.
Boasting a Gorgeous nose of Roasted cherries and Graphite - the Haut Beyzac
is Full Bodied, Rich in texture, and Dense with a long lasting aftertaste
that goes and goes.
