Spectacular Rose
With all the Rose out there, it is getting harder to find ones that stand out. However the Casual Rose from Tandem is an absolutely spectacular rose. This beauty from Spain made from Garnacha and Graciano is a beautiful example of top-notch rose that delivers mouth-watering aromas of strawberry and raspberry and freshness on the palate, with a long, lingering finish that invites another sip. A classically styled Rose from Navarra, Spain, it is fresh, lively, ripe, medium-bodied, and has more texture and length than one usually expects in a rose. This is a big-time winner. Lovely!

Austrian Gem
Ok Let me start off by saying that I love this grape variety. It's an Austrian gem of a wine. If you like Pinot Noirs, you will love this one. This is in my opinion is Austria's Pinot Noir, with a lot more spice! It is a grape variety that should be experienced, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!

When you open this baby, freshly cracked black pepper will leap into your nose, this does dissipate, and it then has aromas of bell peppers, dark cherry and a hint of strawberries. So intoxicating, I couldn't stop inhaling this one (what else is new). The pepper does thrive on in your mouth, I found it a bit spicy, but give it some time and it opens up beautifully. The fruit of black cherries, also a bit of cassis comes into play, with the black pepper. The finish is beautiful silky, it rounds itself out on the end. I love this Blaufrankish, it took me on a journey that I wasn't expecting, and I've had a lot of different Blaufrankish. Please have this with a beautiful steak, or a hunk of Manchego, or any mild and creamy cheese.

Cheers Glatzer! I love what you've done!
Enjoy! That's an order!

Outstanding Effort
A blend of 50% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 20% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are carefully harvested in the vineyard and placed in small boxes for partial drying. L'Appassione is a seductive soft and shapely red wine. Lush and opulent, it delivers an exceedingly smooth mouthfeel. Layers of fruit build in the glass with tons of intensity and depth, finishing with soft tannins. This is an outstanding effort with a deep and unyielding sense of juiciness and freshness that you don't often see in reds at this level.

93 Points and a Cellar Selection
“Under the ownership of Jacky Lorenzetti, president of one of France's top rugby clubs, this estate is now performing impressively. The wine is finely structured with dark tannins and tight acidity and a hint of minerality. It is Merlot dominated, although it is the 40% Cabernet Sauvignon that brings out the black-currant fruitiness. Drink from 2022.”
