Great wine doesn't have to cost a lot!

"..... An explosive nose screams expensive....."
"Borsao is Spanish for value - or at least it should be.

Every wine these folks create has outstanding value for the American consumer.

Tasted blind with a few friends, the 2013 Berola from Borsao was being guessed as a $30 Napa Red with its Full Bodied, Dense rich fruit... "Wow, I'd buy cases of this if this was under $25!!!!"

A careful blending of 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from mountain vineyards gives this wine a deep dark color with tones of pomegranate. An explosive nose screams expensive... but this wine is very
affordable!

Full bodied, dense, and so smooth... it'll blow you away."

91 Points - Vinous / Antonio Galloni
"Opaque ruby. Pungent smoke- and spice-accented aromas of raspberry, blueberry and vanilla, develop a smoky nuance as the wine opens up. In an extroverted style, offering sweet red and blue fruit and cola flavors and a hint of white pepper that adds back-end bite. A sexy floral note appears on the gently tannic finish, which clings with strong intensity."

"..... All the juice not good enough for $40 Cab's are in this Super Value!....."
"Tasted this at the weekly wine tastings here at Pop's (Every Friday 4-7, Sat 12-3 & 3-6) and was shocked how great a Cab it is for the $$.

Awesome Cab Value!

Wyatt's 2015 California Cabernet has a strikingly aromatic nose that offers an array of fruit, floral and herbal scents and full bodied texture that is common with much more expensive wines.

One of the best Fume Blanc's made in Napa.
"A lot of stores over charge for this wine... and it is worth $35-40 a bottle... but for $25 - A lot better.

The 2014 has a wonderful balance... they seem to make this wine better and better each vintage."

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Dark golden-hay in color, this white was fermented mostly in 900-gallon French oak foudres, with the remainder fermented in smaller French oak barrels. Nutty lime and gooseberry provide intrigue and saltiness against bright acidity, making for a complex and compelling impression on the palate."

Stock up for those Summer meals. This wine is perfect with a wide range of food, including grilled seafood, chicken, oysters, creamy pastas dishes and summer salads."

96 Point Brunello’s are quite rare.
"Under $50… Non-existent!!!

This 2012 San Felice Campogiovanni Brunello is a ROCKSTAR.... drinking beautifully now and will age well - if you can keep your hands out of the cookie jar!"

96 Points - Wine Spectator
"In a traditional style, showing beefy tannins and savory earth notes, with a core of leather and cherry flavors. Shows some sweetness mid palate and picks up energy on the long finish. Hangs together, ending in an uplifting, resonant manner. Best from 2021 through 2036."

"..... Tasting like it cost three times the price....."
"The 2015 Novellum Chardonnay from Southern France is Exotic and Perfumed, with bright white peach, cream, brioche and subtle nuttiness. Medium to full-bodied, layered and beautifully detailed texture.

Fantastic year after year, the Novellum Chardonnay is lauded for being one of the best Chardonnay values on the United States market.

A lot of restaurants have found it to be a terrific "by the glass" Chardonnay which marries quite well with food.

"A custom cuvee created by importer Eric Solomon, the 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes Novellum is a smokin’ value that’s made from 100% Chardonnay that spent three months in tank (on Viognier lees) followed by three months in barrel. Tasting like it cost three times the price, it offers lots of orchard fruits, white peach, honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla to go with a medium to full-bodied, crisp, yet still textured and mouth-filling style on the palate. You can’t go wrong at the price and this is a terrific wine to enjoy over the coming year or two. An incredible effort that has both richness and freshness. Very fairly priced!!!

"..... Refreshing, dry, beautiful fruit and just the right amount of bubbles....."
"My Better half loves bubbles, especially Rose Bubbles for a sunset toast.

Her new favorite Affordable Bubbly Rose is the LAMBERTI Vino Spumante which is basically Italian for Bubbly!

Beautiful light pink hue, coral color with beautiful aromas of rose petals and bananas, a delicate mousse, light body, a lovely balance and a fresh, lasting finish.

A sparkling off-dry wine done in the Charmat style, which means it has a second fermentation in stainless steel.

Scents of flowers and watermelon Jolly Ranchers its a light and refreshing wine with flavors of apple and a touch of citrus.

Highly recommend you get some Labmberti Bubbly for your next Sunset, or picnic or family gathering. Very affordable and in clear glass, it has a very attractive look to it.

Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero and Raboso fruit is sourced from the best hillside vineyards across Treviso in the Veneto. Red fruit is vinified with the saigné method. The wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in closed pressure tanks via the Charmat method to obtain a fine mousse.

Also great as an aperitif, this one might pair better with cheese and nuts. It would make an elegant option for brunch."
